Missions

Vision

Missions is one of the primary channels God uses our church to transform lives both outside and within the local congregation. FBC's mission efforts focus on meeting the needs of individuals that are unchurched, both in the Brandon community and around the world. The ultimate goal of each mission effort is to share Christ with each person ministered to and to see their life transformed into a new life in Christ.

The four cornerstones of FBC Brandon's Missions Vision are:

Praying
Educating
Giving
Serving

Praying

We UNDERGIRD every mission project with prayer and seek God's direction and leadership. Our members are encouraged to pray daily for our missionaries serving around the world and to seek God's direction for their own lives including their personal involvement in missions, whether it is local, state, home, or international.

Educating

We INFORM our members of the needs of our missionaries and the needs of our mission projects through various media. We educate our church family on the Cooperative Program, Special Missions Offerings, and missions ministry opportunities.

Giving

We ENCOURAGE our members to support our missionaries through the Cooperative Program and Special Missions Offerings. The Cooperative Program and Special Offerings provide the means for our missionaries to reach people for Christ around the world.

Serving

We PROVIDE our members a variety of opportunities to go beyond the church campus and minister to others. Opportunities to participate in mission projects locally, in Florida, in the US, and around the world allows each member to find their place of missions service as they feel God leading.
