Women’s Ministry Purpose Statement

Reaching all women for the purpose of knowing the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ, through Christ-centered opportunities.

“Let us consider how we may spur on one another toward love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:24

How can you become a part of what we call Women’s Ministry ?

The answer is COME! First Baptist provides all women the opportunity to minister and to be ministered to by the programs, Bible Studies and special areas of service and events we provide.

We would like to personally invite you to become a part of the Women’s Ministry here at First Baptist as we fellowship and serve together in faith, love and unity. Our mission is to see women become committed to a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and Bible study. We also desire to offer encouragement, love and fellowship to women of all ages. There are numerous opportunities available for you to become involved through “Joy” Bible studies, heartwarming fellowships and special events throughout the year. You will have meaningful and fulfilling opportunities to enrich your heart, encourage your spirit and expand your ministry.

Dear Ladies,

It is the desire of this ministry to teach, equip and encourage women to find and accomplish the will of God for their lives. In doing so, they will be prepared to move out in service using their spiritual giftedness to meet the needs of others in their homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods. No matter what your “season of life”, you will be blessed by the many opportunities available through Women’s Ministry.
