Upward Prayer Ministry
The Upward philosophy of sports ministry is based on the parable of the sower and the seed in Mark, chapter 4.   Upward team members cast the seed throughout the season while spending time and sharing the love of Jesus with each child. The harvest will come in God’s time and through whatever means he desires. Where the prayer ministry fits in is by praying for those seeds to fall on fertile ground and to grow and bear fruit for the glory of God. This is why the prayer ministry is a vital component of our league.   Please join us in surrounding this ministry in prayer by volunteering to pray on a daily basis for Upward Basketball and Cheerleading through our 100 Days of Prayer.
